Fair fun

Mommy thought Henry might enjoy the Durham Fair this year, so we missed the rain and headed off.

Henry's favorite part was the shuttle bus ride on the yellow school bus, but Mommy didn't take any photos of that.

Once we arrived, Henry's attention could not be swayed from the litany of ice cream stands lining the entrance. So of course, we had to stop.

Then it was off to the judging of the cows. Henry & Daddy enjoyed this immensely.

Next, the poultry and rabbit barn.

After we visited most of the animals, we went up to the kiddie area, where Henry enjoyed the petting zoo and all the activities the fair had to offer.

On our way out, Henry took his turn sitting on the old tractor.

One last visit with the sheep before we headed home.

That's funny, Silas STILL talks about the bus from the parking lot to the Durham fair. I guess it was his favorite part too, maybe because it's normally for big kids?

Let's remind them of this when they're in high school and completely embarrassed to be on a school bus!
