Obligatory Fall Photos, Part I

All self-respecting new parents in New England are obligated to take photos of their child in fall's glory. We didn't want Henry to feel left out, so we got underway with Part I today -- apples and pumpkins. (Part II for those of you wondering is leaves, but they haven't changed yet).

The associated principle to the New England fall photos theorem is that all children within a reasonable driving distance must go to Lyman Orchards for said photos. And just to make traffic fun, the Durham Fair was this weekend. Fortunately, we timed it right and didn't go anywhere near the store, instead opting for the pick-your-own orchards.

Henry & Mommy reviewing the selection of Macouns. Incidentally, this photo also shows Henry's new favorite activity -- licking the front of the BabyBjorn. It's amazing how much saliva a little kid his age can produce!

Auntie Beth filled in for the day, as Daddy had a catering job.

Henry now demonstrates tummy time on two pumpkins:

And of course in Daddy's absence, he must check out the vegetable selection.

i'm surprised you didn't mention how henry also had his first fall (pun intended) when his tummy time came to an abrupt end thanks to rolling pumpkins and auntie beth's not so cat-like reflexes. also, could there possibly be a worse picture of me???

Henry is such a cutie. We're jealous of the beautiful weather and apple picking opportunities. It's been the wettest fall since 1956 in Reykjavik :(
