Let Them Eat Cake.... (or sweet potatoes)

Henry apologizes for the blog entry delay. He was busy at his first hockey game and the pediatrician's office and then wanted to make a liar out of Mommy (who said he was such a good sleeper) and pull an all nighter.

At the half year mark, Henry weighs in at 20 pounds, 2 ounces with an overall length of just over 27 inches. Amazingly, even with those numbers, he got the OK to enter the world of real food.

Henry decided to warm up with some practice on his bib.

The first entree was sweet potatoes for two reasons. First, Mommy (who has become a closet hippie) baked and pureed them with love. Second, they contrast nicely in photos as seen here:

And even one meal in, Henry already understands the meaning of "food coma."

Later this week -- more orange veggies!

Last but not least, Henry wishes all of his college readers good luck on exams.

Vache, I'm very proud of you for making your own baby food. I can't believe how big Henry has gotten!
