Just a short, belated announcement on Henry's 1 year stats. Babies generally triple their birth weight by the end of their first year. Henry misunderstood and thought that was just a minimum. Given the peer pressure to overachieve (his friend Silas is already speaking English and Icelandic), Henry thought he'd eat a bit extra. He now weighs 26 lbs and stands 32 inches, maintaining his percentiles for height (95%) and weight (80%) for the entire year.
The pediatrician tells us that Henry will now switch over to growing at his "genetic potential." As if that's going to change anything....

WOW -- Henry weighs more than Silas despite Silas' half a year head start!! :)
Thanks for updating the blog -- we were going to leave a comment demanding more updates, so glad that we didn't have to do that after all.
