We're back! We had a lovely visit to Richmond and were blessed with not only minimal traffic in both directions, but also a very cooperative Henry W Bean who seemed to enjoy his road trip & party time immensely. Our southbound drive was done at night, so no photos of that because most of the car was sleeping.
We arrived in Richmond in the wee hours of the morning and then went out to get gifts & cards, which we then had to wrap.

When we arrived at the shower, we had some snacks with Auntie Beth & Blair. Henry also stole the crackers and hummus off another guest's plate, but Mommy was too embarrassed (and covered in hummus) to get a photo of that incident.
And then everyone chatted a bit before Blair opened her gifts. Henry found chasing Blair's cat much more interesting than opening gifts, so Mommy didn't get any photos of the gifts.
After gifts, everyone had cake.
It looked remarkably similar to Blair & Chip's wedding cake!
Henry, without being asked, even gave the nursery a trial run!

Of course Henry behaved!!!! I never had any doubts...I think at
times he was better than his Mom :)
I can't wait until this baby is out and i don't have triple chin action anymore... Henry was extremely well behaved and Oola likes being chased by the dogs so I bet she enjoyed Henry running after her. Thank You for making the trip!!!
