Playdate at Lyman's

It's that time of year again. Having had so much fun last year, Henry decided to have a playdate at Lyman's with his friend Jacob.

While waiting for Jacob and his Mommy to arrive, Henry felt compelled to point out the ducks. And then Mommy felt compelled to go inside to buy duck food (a/k/a dried corn kernels).

The ducks didn't seem too interested in the corn because a Lyman's employee decided to give out stale bagels and doughnuts at the same time. Henry thought he should review the texture and feel of the kernels though.

Off we went to the orchards, starting off with some raspberries. Henry was eating them so quickly that Mommy could barely keep up. As you can see though, some missed his mouth, creating some confusion and some very lovely stains!

Then it was off to the apples. Jacob and Henry chomped on some samples as the Mommies picked.

Even though both boys had helped to pick raspberries, they didn't want to help with this round, focusing instead on the delicious apples!

In that one photo of Henry and his little friend together, Henry IS (forget "looks like") Dave with light hair!

We're jealous of the apple picking.
