The close of Christmas Day was certainly not the end of Henry's celebrations.
Because the boys had not finished their modern art discussion at Thanksgiving, Silas convinced his mom to come for another visit. He and Henry picked up where they left off and considered the night landscape.
Because the boys had not finished their modern art discussion at Thanksgiving, Silas convinced his mom to come for another visit. He and Henry picked up where they left off and considered the night landscape.

Henry looked on with intensity while Silas pointed out some interesting shadows.

They were not happy when the Mommys interrupted to take this group photo of themselves with their friends and the newest blog baby Molly, a California babe also in for a holiday visit.

Silas and Henry switched gears and spoke of political issues, namely Silas' apparent inability to become president due to some strict interpretation of the US Constitution. (Anyone think they're channeling Yalta?)

Although it was a weighty subject, the lure of snacks quickly distracted them!

After Silas' departure, Henry suggested that he, Mommy and Daddy go out to dinner for New Year's Eve. Even though Mommy had to swallow her pride in making a 5:00 pm reservation, Henry wore a spiffy tie and vest to make it worthwhile.

He and Daddy inspected the holiday lights outside the restaurant,

and then Henry looked annoyed while Mommy made him pose for blog photo op!
Best wishes in 2009 to our Henry W readers!
